End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an excellent choice for applications which require frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by various companies which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
