Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined areas during construction and industrial applications. They are also known for their ability to maneuver through a job site rapidly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit has a telescoping jib, known as the Jib-Extend, which goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks which were previously inaccessible by typical jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This particular feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also offers the Fast Mast system that allows for valuable time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to ascend and descend, increasing both productivity and effectiveness.
